Now a day’s Facebook is the largest and popular social networking site of Bangladesh. Day by day its importance and popularity is increasing.
In average, from the 10 to 60 aged people of Bangladesh use the facebook. Though only the literate class people can use it. Most of the Bangladeshi has no idea about facebook but it is true that every day Bangladeshi user is increasing.
In our country facebook has a great importance, it helps us to know about the people of different communities and cultures.
Besides it, facebook cost is low than any other communication. Here a man can find easily his old or memorized friend who has a facebook also. A man can give his opinion, status, information, image and evaluation on his facebook. It is a great sorrow that, the young generation fond of facebook with a large amount. Generally many of men open 3 0r 4 facebook account. Sometimes they create fake account and using this just for jokes.
It is easy to make a friendship in abroad and know more by facebook. A large number Bangladeshi are lived in foreign countries. They and their families also can response each other by facebook.
If it has many merits but it has some demerits also. The teen ager and young people are addicted into it rapidly and lost attention to their lesson. They are becoming technology dependent slowly.
Most of the dwellers of us have no computer or internet facility. So it is difficult to them to use facebook. But at present era many of them are using mobile facebook. It is easy and cheap.
Most the man without literate knows no about facebook. Then the teenager has curiosity turn their post to sexual. It is harmful for them and the society. In Bangladesh, if we avoid the negativity we will make a strong communication system by it.
